Hydrogel compresses with melaleuca oil can cool as effectively as running water - helping to limit tissue damage and promote wound healing.

Apply the burn dressing to the burn wound as soon as possible to prevent further (underlying) tissue damage.

The burn gel consists of more than 90% water and the compress acts as a heat conductor, which then removes the heat from the burn. The transparent gel makes it easy to assess the severity of the wound.

In addition, the gel is easy to rinse with water. The compresses are ideal for larger burns and for places where clean, cool water is not available or during the transport of victims.
